MINERD Linda M. of West Newton, March 24, 2013. Beloved wife of Michael D. Minerd with whom she shared over 42 years of marriage. Devoted Mother to daughter Merridith and son Mark and his wife Dina. Loving Grandmother of Mason. She was predeceased by her brother Richard and is survived by three sisters, Marjorie of Massachusetts, Rowena or Arizona, Gwendolyn of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. She was an avid quilter, gardener and reader and loved to travel. Throughout her life, Linda cared for others. It was her hope that a cure would be found for those still fighting, and she was extremely grateful for her Dana Farber Team. Visiting hours in the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown Street, Rt. 16, NEWTON, Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Burial Private.
