GIRARD Lucille (Bruneau), of Marlborough, formerly of Cambridge, Shrewsbury, and Worcester. Passed peacefully on July 19, 2015, at the age of 92, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Haverhill. Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Girard, Sr. Loving mother of Jacqueline Kapopoulos and her husband Ernie of Hudson, and the late Paul J. Girard, Jr., Rosemary T. Girard, and baby David Francis. Devoted Nana of Christine O’Brien, Ernie and Susan Kapopoulos, Paul Girard III, Michael and Steven Kapopoulos, Katie Brennan, and the late Tricia Girard. Cherished great grandmother of ten. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Retired Food Service Employee for the City of Cambridge. Resident of Cambridge, MA for 56 years, and past President of Cambridge Emblem Club, #108. Lucille lived the last three years of her life happily at New Horizons in Marlborough, a place she called Home. Visiting Hours will be held from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Avenue, NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Wednesday from 4:00 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel at the New Horizons Assisted Living Facility, 400 Hemenway Street, on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial is Private.
