BURKARD Margaret A. “Peggy” (McManus) 81 of Braintree passed away at her niece’s home in Pocasset, January 5, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Burkard. Dear sister of Beverly Egan of Boca Raton FL and Pocasset, and Ann Kinney of Merrimac. Aunt of David, Scott, Robert Jr., Steven, Stacey, Kelly, Annmarie and Joanie McGinty-Kerrigan. Great aunt of Caylie, Daniel Jr., Lily, David III, Colleen, Madeline, Spencer and Adam. Born in Boston and raised in Brookline she was a graduate of Brookline High School. Margaret had worked as a supervisor for the Sears Catalog Co. of Boston for 35 years retiring in 1988. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 11 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, South Braintree Square Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Route 37) BRAINTREE Friday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
