ASCI Margaret 75, of Braintree, entered life eternal on February 23rd 2016. Margaret, the daughter of Margaret and Charles Toner, was born on April 4, 1940. The loving widow of Rocco Asci, Margaret passed away at Parmenter Hospice in Wayland, MA after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her son David, her daughter Allison, her adopted son Pierre Hughes, her niece Erin and her nephew Brian. She is also survived by her grandchildren Isabella, Adriana, Tess and Tieran, all living in Massachusetts. Margaret worked as a nurse until her retirement in 2012. She also was greatly involved in humanitarian activities helping children in rural Haiti get relevant education through Our Lady of Perpetual Help Foundation (OLPH). She also loved to play guitar at her home Parish of Saint Matthew’s in Dorchester. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends both in the United States, in Haiti and in Jamaica. The wake will be held on Monday, February 29th at Peck Funeral Home 516 Washington St., BRAINTREE from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. There will be a procession from the funeral home on Tuesday March 1st at 10:00 AM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Matthews’s Parish 33 Stanton St., Dorchester on Tuesday, March 1st at 11:00 AM.
