DeACETIS Marie K. "Nana" (Caswell), 77 of Hanover, passed away peacefully in her home on April 25, 2016. She was born in New York on June 24, 1938, the daughter of the late David and Helen Caswell. Marie was raised and educated in South Boston, where she met her late husband, Gino, of 55 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed arts and crafts, ceramics and trips to Carson beach. She began raising her family in Hyde Park before moving to Hanover 39 years ago. She was the proud mother of seven, but perhaps best known for being a hockey mom. Then she became NANA! More recently, she enjoyed trips to Florida, and spending time with her growing family. Marie was preceded in death by her dear husband, Gino and her only brother, David Caswell Jr. Marie was the beloved mother of Gail DeAcetis of Hyde Park, Doreen (DeAcetis) Finch of East Bridgewater, Steven DeAcetis and Brenda Reilly of Pembroke, Gino DeAcetis Jr. of Hanover, Brian DeAcetis of Kingston, Vincent DeAcetis and Patricia Cripe of Pembroke, and Marie DeAcetis and Paul Johnson of Florida, grandmother of thirteen and great-grandmother of two. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Route 53 in HANOVER on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St, Rte 139 in Hanover at 10:00 A.M. Burial at Hanover Center Cemetery.
