MCLEAN Mary Anne (Annese), of Newton, a wife, mother and grandmother at the center of a loving family, died Wednesday, June 25, surrounded by her family and friends. The daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Mills) Annese, she was 64. Mary Anne’s trademark laughter was the emblem and the soundtrack of a life lived to the fullest. Her sense of humor was legendary and she shared it with everyone she touched. She was generous and caring and was frequently not only the life of the party, but the party itself. Her friends who admired that sense of generosity and who watched her courageous struggle in recent months, will remember the years of laughter and mourn a world without her voice, her compassion and her total commitment to those she loved and those who loved her. None feel that loss more deeply than her loving husband of 44 years, Rick, who adored her, her son Joshua and his wife Amy and their daughter Crista, her grandson Miles (the love of her life), her sister Theresa and friend Lillian, her brothers Francis, and Peter and his wife Roberta, her in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncle and aunts.
