GAMMON Mary C. Gammon, of Rockland, passed away unexpectedly October 15, 2013 at the age of 71. Born in Weymouth, Mary was raised and educated in Rockland. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart in Kingston. She graduated from Boston City Hospital School of Nursing and became an RN, and then graduated from Albany Medical Center and became a CRNA. She was a Rockland resident for over 50 years. Over the years, she enjoyed phone calls and traveling with her good friends. Devoted sister of Francis Gammon and his wife Janet of Holbrook. Dear cousin of Fran Baldessarini and her husband Ross of Waban. Also survived by her niece, Rachel, and nephews Timothy and Paul. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main Street (Rt. 28), RANDOLPH, Wednesday at 9:15 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Michael’s Church, Avon at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Interment Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s name can be made to the Chapel of Our Savior, 475 Westgate Drive, Brockton, MA 02301.
