MCKAY Mary C. (Danehy) a life-long resident of Brighton October 13, 2015. Beloved wife of James A. McKay, Jr. Devoted mother of James and his wife Victoria of Marshfield, Brian and his wife Tracy of Needham, Mark and his wife Barbara of Hingham and the late David McKay. Sister of Anne Sweetnam, Sheila O’Hara, John, Francis, Paul and Susan Danehy. Also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Longtime Guidance Counselor at St. Columbkille High School and Development Officer at Arlington Catholic High School, Mary's commitment and advocacy for those less fortunate was characteristic of her compassion and heart. Her humor, grace and good spirit will be greatly missed. Private funeral and internment services have already been held.
