LaROSA Mary Frances (Consalvi), 71, of Dennisport, MA, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016. Mary was born in Winthrop on August 15, 1944 to the late James and Frances (Licciardi) Consalvi. She grew up in Roslindale, where she met the love of her life, Vincent P. LaRosa. They enjoyed over 50 special years together. In their Hyde Park home, Mary was a devoted full-time mom of the other loves of her life, Mary Beth, Christine, Vincent Jr, James, and Alicia. Supportive mother-in-law of Brian Peverly, Stephane Ledecq, and Marcela LaRosa. Treasured nana to Jacob, Vaughan, Will, Violet, Kayla, Arianna, Rose, Remy, Arthur, and Pierrick. Survived by cherished older sister Julie Vitagliano. Sister of late brothers James, Robert, and Richard. She was a thoughtful friend and family member, including adored auntie to numerous nieces, nephews, and their children. Mary was a creative person and a great cook who loved her Cape Cod haven, which she described as her “happy place,” especially when the Red Sox were on a winning streak. She lived for laughter and wanted any remembrance of her to be a joyful one. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, January 28, at the Elks Club, 1 Morrell Street, West Roxbury, MA, from 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Cheerful flowers are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary’s name to the Red Sox Jimmy Fund.
