LYONS Maureen A. (Reidy), formerly of Plymouth died on November 7, 2015. Born in Cambridge, MA on August 13, 1933, daughter of the late William and Margaret (Miano) Reidy, she grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School. She was a longtime resident of Plymouth where she owned and operated the Inn at Plymouth and also worked as a Real Estate Agent for Jack Conway Co. in Plymouth. Maureen had also worked a period of time for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. She enjoyed, music, dancing, playing cards, knitting and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by her children John Lyons and his partner JoyceMarie Lawless of Melrose, Patricia Lyons and her wife Dottie of Boston, Thomas Lyons and his wife Beth of Natick and Peter Lyons and his husband Mike of New York, and the late Michael Lyons. Sister of Margaret Talerico of Somerville, Betty Sullivan of Marshfield and the late Maurice Reidy, Joan Mallard, and Robert Reidy. She is also survived by her former husband Thomas P. Lyons of Quincy. She was the cherished grandmother of Eric, Corey, Teresa, Kaleigh and Noah and great grandmother of Maureen, Marley, Matthew and Payton. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court Street, PLYMOUTH on Thursday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peter’s Church Plymouth at 10:00 A.M.
