BERRY Mildred A. (Garmalinsky) in Everett, formerly of Chelsea, on Sunday, December 22 under the devoted and loving care of her daughter and family following a prolonged illness. Cherished mother of Millie Berry and George R. Barry, Jr. both of Everett, William L. Berry and his late wife Maryalice of Uxbridge, and the late Stephen J. Berry. Dear twin sister to Lee Woodworth of Willimantic, CT. Also lovingly survived by her grandson Andrew Forget of Uxbridge, her faithful friends, Nancy Hocter of Middleton, Lucy Hunter and Nino Nittolo, both of Revere, many nieces and nephews, and many grateful colleagues. She was the wife of the late George R. Barry, Sr. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway, (Rte. 107), REVERE, on Saturday, December 28, at 9:30 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, 194 Nichols St., on the Chelsea-Everett line, at 10:30 A.M. Visiting hours are Friday only 4:00-8:00 P.M. Parking available left of the Funeral Home. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. “Millie” was a much loved and admired Nurse at Chelsea Soldiers Home for 32 years, and was known widely for her devotion, kindness, and caring heart not only to her patients but also to their families.
