BEATON Morris J. of Brookline on August 25, 2014. Beloved son of the late Ronald and Agnes (Morris) Beaton. Dear brother of William L. Beaton and his wife Liz Storm of Roslindale, Mary Margaret “Peggy” Canney and her late husband Joseph Canney of Brookline, Shirley Jordan and her husband Clifford of Plymouth and the late Catherine “Kay” T. MacArthur of Brookline. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews and four great-great nephews. Funeral from the Bell-O’Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington Street, BROOKLINE, Thursday morning at 9:10 A.M. followed by Funeral Mass in the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church) 1545 Tremont Street, Mission Hill at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery. Morris’ devotion to his Catholic upbringing was so very strong he had entered the Seminary strengthening his bond between him and his faith. Morris’ interests including spending time with family and his love of travel. Late Navy Veteran Korean War, Longtime employee Brookline Public Library.
