TRANSTAMAR Mrs. Paula "Popo" Therese (Mouscardy) of Randolph died in Brockton Hospital on January 30, 2016, after a brief illness at the age of 81. Paula is survived by her husband, Martin of Brookline, her children Roselle Transtamar, Guerda Cadet and her husband Ernst, Lyssa Transtamar all of Randolph, Ingrid Lochard and her husband Moliere of Assonet, her seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Christina Transtamar (2000) and her sons Jean Didier (2007) and Jude (2014) Transtamar of Randolph. Paula was born in Marmelade, Haiti in 1934. She immigrated to the United States in 1969 with her husband and children. She lived in New York and New Jersey. In 1974, she and her family relocated to Boston. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Resthaven Nursing Home now known as Benjamin Healthcare Center in Roxbury for over 25 years, retiring 1999. She also worked as a Home Health Aide and Homemaker for the Council of Elders for several years. She has been a resident of the town of Randolph since 1988. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main Street, (Rte 28) RANDOLPH until 9:15AM on Saturday, February 6th followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Bernadette Church, 1031 No. Main Street, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday February 5th 5:00 9:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph MA.
