ANNESE Peter J. Annese, Sr., on May 19, 2013, born December 2, 1919. Served in WW II U.S. Army (European Theater). Retired Newton Police Officer after 30 years of service. Beloved Husband of the late Mary (Mills) Annese. Devoted Father of Theresa Annese, Peter Annese Jr., Francis Annese, and Mary Anne Annese McLean. Grandfather of Mark, Joshua, Rae T and Frankie, and Great-Grandfather of Ashley, Christian and Miles. He also leaves behind four siblings: Judy Annese, Philomena Carpenter, Caroline Migliaccio and Romeo Annese, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the A.J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St., Rte. 16, NEWTON, Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and again on Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M., before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St., Newton, for a Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon. Burial Newton Cemetery.
