ROCHE Raymond J. “Ray” Roche, of Avon, passed away October 18, 2013 at the age of 75. Ray was born, raised, and educated in South Boston and graduated from South Boston High School in 1956. Ray was a resident of Avon for over 45 years. He retired from Boston Edison and was a member of the Local #369. Ray coached for Avon Baseball and Avon Youth Hockey. He was a member of the Randolph Elks and played in their golf league, and was also a member of the Polish White Eagles. He was an avid reader and enjoyed crosswords. Beloved husband for 50 years of Ann (Lynch) Roche. Loving father of Kelly Quirk and her husband Patrick, Karen Roche, Raymond Roche, Jr., Patricia Roche, and Sean Roche and his wife Christine. Devoted brother of Alphonsus Roche and Donald Roche. Also survived by seven grandchildren. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main Street (Rt. 28), RANDOLPH, Tuesday at 9:45 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Michael’s Church, Avon at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avon. Late US Air Force Veteran.
