CANN Richard W., a lifelong resident of South Boston, April 8, 2013. Devoted son of the late Walter and Angela (Wyse) Cann. Devoted beloved brother of Mary Cox of South Boston and the late Walter W. Cann. Devoted beloved uncle to David, Paul, Lisa, Michael, Barbara Cox and great uncle to Matthew and Lauren Cox. Survived by his sister-in-law Mary Cann, nieces Mary, Janet, Barbara, Carol, Sheila and nephew Walter. Funeral from the O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, Friday at 9:00 A.M. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Interment New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. Visiting hours Thursday 5:00-8:00 P.M. Late veteran US Navy, WWII and US Army, Korea. Richard was a US Postal Manager, AMF Boston and the Back Bay. A life member of the SBYC, a member of the Southie Redskins and BPO B/L 400 Club.
