COLLINS Rita M. (Piscitello) In Quincy, formerly of Saugus, March 5. Wife of the late Frederick J. Collins. Loving mother of Cristine Waldron and her husband Ray of Quincy, Michael Collins & his wife Jessica of Haverhill. Cherished grandmother of Lena and Collin Waldron, Owen, Aidan and John Collins. Dear sister of Margaret Slocum and her husband Ed of Melrose. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Medford, Rita lived in Saugus for nearly 40 years and was active in the community at the VFW with her husband Fred where they enjoyed socializing with their friends. Rita worked for many years at the former Boston Gas Co. before taking time off to raise her children. She returned to work many years later to work for the Commonwealth in Boston and Chelsea for nearly 20 years. Her last few years were spent in Quincy at The Fenno House and John Adams Health Care Center. Visitation will be held in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Avenue, SAUGUS on Saturday 9:30 A.M. 10:30 A.M. followed by a funeral mass at St. Margaret’s Church, 431 Lincoln Avenue, Saugus at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.
