HECKMAN Robert G., 65, a resident of Easton for the past 35 years, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Robert was the beloved husband of Martha (Barilaro) Heckman for 35 years and the loving and devoted father of Robert G. Heckman Jr. and his wife Shannon of West Bridgewater and Kimberly (Heckman) Foley and her husband Timothy of Plainville. Dear grandfather to Ryan Lincoln, Andrew Heckman and Jake Heckman. Robert was the son of Pauline F. (DiGregorio) Heckman of Easton and the late George B. Heckman. He is also survived by his nieces, godchildren, family and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138), EASTON, on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton, at 10:00 A.M. Interment with military honors will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45 P.M. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. 8:00 P.M.
