HOGAN Robert W. “Bob” of Braintree, formerly of Neponset, January 7, 2015 at the age of 79. Beloved husband for 57 years to Joan F. (Andreasen) Hogan. Loving father of Robert V. Hogan and his wife Jill of Auburndale, Nancy A. Hogan of Chelsea, James M. Hogan and his wife Sharon of Mattapoisett and Glenn P. Hogan and his wife Beth of South Braintree. Son of the late Michael and Margaret (Kelley) Hogan. Devoted brother of Mary Haley and her husband Robert of Weymouth, Paul Hogan and his wife Ismay of South Weymouth, Walter Hogan and his wife Marcia of Rockland, Anne Hogan of Weymouth and the late Richard Hogan. Dear grandfather of John, Jenna, Megan, Matt, Mikey and Justin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob was born in Boston and grew up in the Neponset section of the city. Bob worked as an account executive for Wonder Bread and Hostess Cake for over 50 years. He was a legend in the supermarket and convenience store industry, well known to top executives down to clerks at Stop & Shop, Shaws, Bj’s, Market Basket, Cumberland Farms and Tedeschi’s. He had also worked for Raytheon Corp. Bob was a member of the McKeon Post of Dorchester and longtime member of the Mass Food Association. Bob had served in the US Army Reserve. Bob will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, BRAINTREE until 9:45 A.M. on Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree.
