CARUSO Rosemary, lifelong resident of Newton, age 92, passed away on May 1, 2015. She was surrounded by her son Richard Pellegrine and his wife Deirdre (Dee), her grandsons Luca and Richie and her dear friends Francis Sheehan and Karen Brock, with whom she found much comfort within recent months. Rose is survived by her son Richie and his wife Dee, her son Louis Pellegrine Jr. and his wife Peggy of Florida. She had 5 grandchildren, Tracey, Wendy, Kristy, Luca and Richard and 4 great-grandchildren. Rosemary was married to the late Louis J. Pellegrine. Rose was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Venturino) Caruso. She had 9 siblings: Frank, Frank, Esther, Rico, Theresa, Joseph, Freddy and Margaret (Dolly), who all preceded her in death. Rose was blessed with many nieces and nephews, whom she loved deeply. Rosemary was a graduate of Newton North High School, and entered the workforce after graduation. She retired as the secretary to the vice-president of the Bank of America in Newton. She was an avid sportswoman, playing tennis and a lifelong Red Sox fan. Rose enjoyed traveling the world with trips to Italy, Ireland, Spain and Hawaii. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Italian Home for Children School, 1125 Centre St, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Visiting hours in the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, NEWTON, Tuesday, May 5, from 8-9:30 A.M, before proceeding to St. Bernard Church, 1523 Washington St, West Newton for 10:00 A.M. mass. Burial Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
