MOORADKANIAN Ruth Ann Mooradkanian Teacher at Johnson, North Andover High. Miss Ruth Ann Mooradkanian, North Andover, went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2014. For several years, she was a high school English teacher in North Andover, at both Johnson High and North Andover High Schools. There, she was responsible for the quarterly publication, the “Johnson Journal,” which won prizes in regional competitions, as well as the class yearbook, “The Gobbler.” Miss Mooradkanian was the daughter of the late Atty. Gregory Mooradkanian and Zabelle (Condayan) Mooradkanian of North Andover. She graduated from Lawrence High School, Bradford Junior College, Boston University (B.A.) where she majored in French and Spanish, and attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She also studied piano at the New England Conservatory of Music and was an accomplished classical pianist, and played for church groups and women’s organizations. She was a member of the Music Lovers Club of Boston. Miss Mooradkanian was a member of the Trinitarian Congregational Church, North Andover, where she taught Sunday School for a number of years, and later joined Park Street Church in Boston, where she took advanced courses at their Evening Institute of the Bible. Survivors include her brother Edward H. Mooradkanian of North Andover, cousins Helen Sybil Mooradkanian of North Andover, and Louise Elaine (Mrs. Gordon) Homer of Stow. She was predeceased by her cousin, Dr. Richard Mooradkanian. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Wednesday 11:00 A.M. at the Trinitarian Congregational Church in North Andover.
