Stephanie was my therapist 30 years ago while I was in College. She was remarkably warm, kind and caring. I became a social worker partly due to her influence upon my life. I just learned of her death when I decided to look back and google the people who helped me grow. Mallory, I am so sorry you lost your mother so young. She was so happy being pregnant with you. I hope you and your father have found peace.

I only just learned that Stephanie is gone...I grew up with her in Bakersfield, California, we went to The same schools from first grade through high school. I remember her parents, her home, (which I pass by on many an early morning walk) her sweetness and intelligence. She was always such a good friend, so wise even as a young girl. I remember her long braids, her Dad driving us to Garces on foggy days, and her sweet mother, Maria, so very long ago. The world is less warm, less bright, without her. I am so sorry to learn she is no longer with us...yet glad to know she lives on through her daughter! You had a lovely woman for a Mom!

Stephanie and I became friends at BU during our graduate school years. I will remember her with love as a thoughtful, strong, and full of determination woman and a wonderful friend always. I will miss her in many ways and also, her timely cards that came to our home on every Holiday year after year. Hildegarde Kochman and family (Panama City, Panama)

I only came to know Stephanie for a very short time prior to her passing. It quickly became apparent to me that Stephanie was a kind soul who was loved by many. Despite her illness, she maintained an amazing sense of humor a clear zest for life right until the end. I feel blessed to have known her, although saddened that is was for such a short time. I will forever be grateful for the impact that Stephanie and her family has had on my life.

Stephanie saved our marriage and in doing so saved my life. We will forever be grateful to her and her name shall always adorn the jersey I wear during the annual Pan Mass Challenge. While her passing eventually became inevitable, it does not reduce the sadness we are now feeling. But it also does not reduce the joy that was Stephanie. Our sincere condolences and prayers to her husband and daughter
