CAPRARELLA Stephen Paul “Cappa” age 56 years, of Lynn died Friday March 13, 2015, after a long battle with the disease of addiction. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Mary (Molinaro) Caprarella. He was raised in Brighton, and graduated from Brighton High School, Class of 1976. He was an exceptional student with a great potential for success. Stephen will be greatly missed for his gentle manner, sensitivity, his numerous stories (not), sense of humor, and loyalty especially when working a 12 step program of recovery. His closest friends and co-workers at Kenney and Associates ask you to remember: “The addict you are judging is someone’s loved one, Don’t hate the addict, hate the disease. Pray for Them!” Stephen is survived by his loving sisters Annmarie Vanness of Walpole, Joan Connors of Bellingham, his brothers Robert Caprarella of North Attleboro and Richard Caprarella of Terra Haute, Indiana. He is also survived by a longtime devoted friend Dezra L. Kenney, of Lynn, and several nieces and nephews whom he treasured. Along with his parents he is reunited in death with his brother Joseph C. “Jo” Caprarella, Jr., his beloved nephew Brian D. Connors, his girlfriend Kristin Marie Brodin, and his dog Deebo. Service Details: Visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin Street, Lynn on Sunday March 29 from 3:00 P.M. 6:00 P.M. to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
