ROBINSON Stuart E., 82, of Boston, formerly of Everett, passed away Thursday October 17, 2013. Beloved son of Lloyd Robinson and Mildred Robinson (nee' Galbraith). Husband of Mary Robinson, pre-deceased by wife Margaret Robinson (nee' Coulson) and by wife Marilyn Robinson (nee' MacGregor Stevens). Cherished father of Betsey Melber and her husband Chuck of Agoura Hills, California, Lindsay Robinson of Riverside, California and Glenn Robinson of Front Royal, Virginia. Beloved grandfather of Chucky and Carly Melbur and step-grandfather to Sean and Owen Goward of Brooklyn, New York. Brother of Nancy Rollins and her husband David of Chatham, Massachusetts. Active in the Church of the Covenant, Boston, where he served as a member of the church council and as president of the corporation. He was also active in the Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay (NABB) and also served as Vice-President and Historian of the Clan Galbraith Association, He graduated with the 1949 class of Melrose High School and the 1953 class of Cornell University. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the covert services unit of the U.S. military for two years. He enjoyed a long and engaging career in the burgeoning fields of computer technology from the 1950s through to 1985, working in a variety of management capacities at Unisys Corporation and related organizations. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 27 at 2:00 P.M. at the Church of the Covenant, 67 Newbury, Boston to be followed by a reception at the Church.
