MacNEIL Teresa L. (Tape), of Dorchester, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 83. Born in Boston, Teresa grew up in Dorchester and graduated from St. Augustin’s High School. She had worked as a dental hygienist and at the Tara Room in Dorchester for many years. Teresa had many passions in life, however, spending time with her family is what brought her the most joy. Wife of the late Augustus “Gus” MacNeil. Loving mother of Stephen MacNeil of Quincy, Susan Spencer of Wakefield, Diane Rimsans of Brockton, Nancy Sutherland of Bridgewater, Kathi MacNeil of North Carolina and Mark MacNeil of Braintree. Dear mother-in-law of Jackie MacNeil, Paul Sutherland, Wail Malaty and Patrice MacNeil. Daughter of the late Elizabeth Tape. Also survived by ten grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin Street (Rt. 37), HOLBROOK, until 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, 153 So. Franklin Street, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
