WYSE Theresa Mary, of South Boston, November 23, 2016. Therese joins her beloved family in heaven. Sister of the late John, Benedict and Richard Wyse, John, Francis and Leo LeBlanc, her late sisters Mary, Patricia O'Rourke, Joan McColgan and Claire Quirk. Devoted aunt of so many beloved nieces and nephews, whom she never forgot; including the late Maureen, Walter, Jack, Benedict "Buddy", Robert and Donald Wyse, Michael and Sean O'Rourke, Veronica Quirk and Patrick Donovan. Considered a second mother to her caregivers Maureen Vezina, Joanne Russo and Donald McColgan. Life long friend of the late Virginia Ferrara. Cherished family member of Compass on the Bay Memory Support Community in South Boston, to whom her family is forever indebted for their exceptional, loving care. Theresa demonstrated her generous spirit throughout her life, on her daily trips downtown on the Bay View or Copley bus, buying coffee for the less fortunate, scooping up bargains for family in Filene's Basement, or faithfully visiting/writing the infirmed. Theresa was a staunch advocate and community supporter of her beloved South Boston. She was a retired employee of the City of Boston School Department and Massachusetts General Hospital. Visiting hours in The O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church, 615 East Fourth Street South Boston, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa's memory to The Pine Street Inn 444 Harrison Ave, Boston MA 02118 or Gate of Heaven Parish, 841 East Broadway South Boston MA 02127
