KOWALIK Thomas B. A., Jr, of Weymouth, 67 years of age, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Tom was born in Boston and raised in the South End. He was employed for his entire career of 38 years at the Back Bay Post Office as a Postal Clerk. Tom and his wife Carol have lived on the South Shore for many years. He will be remembered as a loving family man and a great friend to all who knew him. Tom is the beloved husband of Carol A. (McGrath) Kowalik. He is the loving father of Thomas B. A. Kowalik, III of Braintree and Catherine S. Corrigan and her husband Patrick Corrigan of Dorchester. Tom was the devoted brother of the late "Jim Jim" formerly of Boston and a loving uncle to his two daughters. He is the beloved nephew to the Callahan family. He is also survived by the McGrath and Walsh Clans. Visiting hours will be held at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, BRAINTREE on Monday, April 6, from 4:00 P.M. 7:00 P.M. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 7, at 10:00 A.M. to be followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing at 11:15 A.M. Following the Funeral Mass Tom will be cremated and he will be buried at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. The family sincerely requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the , 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
