GILL Thomas R., of Westwood, formerly of Roslindale, died May 28th 2015. Beloved husband of Martha (Hanley) Gill for forty one years. Loving father of Matthew Thomas Gill and Lisa Catherine Gill, both of Boston. Loving brother of Robert James Gill and his wife Virginia of Brookline, Jean Howard-Brissette and her husband Jack of Walpole, MaryAnn Saurino and her husband Joseph of Norfolk, James Patrick Gill and his wife Michele of Walpole, and Joseph Michael Gill of Plymouth. Also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Katherine and David Clark of Walpole, Walter and Patricia Hanley of Chatham, NJ, and Priscilla and James Ragonese of Newburyport, and by fifteen nieces and nephews. Tom was a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and the Boston Architectural Center. He was a residential builder and architect, and owner of Gill Construction Company. In his later career, he was a finish carpenter with the Carpenters Local 275 union in Newton. Tom had a passion for the outdoors, and could often be found fishing, kayaking, skiing, golfing, coaching youth sports, or volunteering with the Westwood Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He also enjoyed sketching and water color painting. Tom was an ultimate family man - loved dearly by all - who left everyone he touched better because of it. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) WESTWOOD on Sunday, May 31st from 2-6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning June 1st at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, Westwood. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery. Holden-Dunn-Lawler www.hdlfuneralhome.net
