CHALOUX Timothy Alexander “Tim” 18, a lifelong resident of North Reading, died tragically in a single-car motor vehicle accident early Saturday morning. Loving son of Kathleen (Crudden) and Stanley Chaloux. Brother of Christopher and Kathryn Chaloux. Beloved nephew of Leslie Chaloux and Gary Ferguson; Leonard and Sherry Chaloux; Fred and Erin Chaloux; Susan and Roger Beer; Janice and Stanley Warnock; Peter and Lois Crudden and Thomas and Mary Cru Dane. Tim is also survived by many cousins and friends. Tim was a graduate of the Pike School in Andover and was a senior at the Pingree School in South Hamilton. He was a popular and charismatic young man who transcended social groups. He intuitively understood others and saw the beauty in every person. Tim had an enormous capacity for love and always provided comfort in times of need. Tim, known by all for his infectious laughter, possessed a great sense of humor and unique wit. He was a gifted athlete who starred on Pingree’s baseball team and played for the North Reading All-Star team. Tim also had a burgeoning passion for basketball. Tim was a young man who truly loved life and lived in the moment, but often pondered the universe and his place in the world. He enjoyed learning about outer space and ideas put forth by theoretical physicists. Tim was planning to attend St. Michael’s College in Colchester, VT next fall. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte 62), North Reading on Friday, April 19 at 12 noon.
