RING Vincent J. of Randolph formerly of South Boston passed away unexpectedly at home January 8, 2014 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Rita T. (Hutchinson) Ring. Loving father of Daniel W. O’Brien of Roslindale, Kathleen (O’Brien) Glynn of Holbrook, Patricia (O’Brien) DeRobbio of Abington, and Margaret (O’Brien) Alteri of FL. Devoted brother of Carol Maher of Weymouth, Barbara Kinsherf of Braintree the late Patricia Griffin, and George F. Ring. Also survived by eight grandchildren and the late Taylor Zamora, several great grandchild many nieces and nephews. Born in Boston grew up in So. Boston and has lived in Randolph for over 40 years. He was a retired employee of the MBTA and a member Carmen’s Union Local 589. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959 and was an avid Patriot’s and Red Sox fan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main Street, (Route. 28), Randolph MA 02368, Monday from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Burial in the Mass National Cemetery, Bourne MA, Monday at 1:15 P.M. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in his late wife’s name, Rita T.
