PROVENZANO Vincent J. proudly served in the U.S. Marines and Boston Police Department, originally from South Boston, formerly of Holbrook, and Lakeland, FL, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Halifax, December 13, 2013 at the age of 75. Son of the late Rosario “Rocky” and Helen (Crea) Provenzano. Loving father of Joseph Provenzano of Buzzards Bay, Richard Provenzano and his wife Pamela of Brockton, Susan Hebb and her husband Troy of Halifax. Devoted brother of Marie Doran and her husband John “Shorty” of South Boston, Angela Linnell and her husband Robert of South Boston, Anthony Provenzano and his wife Audrey of Salem, NH, and John Provenzano of South Boston. He will be dearly missed by his nine grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his dear friend Jacqueline Tammaro of Braintree. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 S. Franklin Street (Rte. 37), HOLBROOK, MA until 8:00 A.M. Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
