MacLEOD Mr. William “Bill” “Pops”, age 76, of Tewksbury, formerly Somerville. May 29, 2016. Retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he had worked as a facilities engineer at several state institutions, including Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham, the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, the J.T. Berry Rehabilitation Center in No. Reading, and the Danvers State Hospital. Beloved husband for 38 years of Lorraine E. (Wooldridge) MacLeod. Son of the late Gordon and Agnes Theresa (Broughall) MacLeod. Loving father of Stephen R. and his wife Catherine (Couperus) of Chester, NH, and Heather I. MacLeod of Windermere, FL; beloved grandfather of Lucille Patricia MacLeod; brother of Agnes Beattie of FL, predeceased by his sisters, Barbara Steele, Margaret “Dolly” Goodrow, Alice Barrentine, Madeline DePalma, and brother, Robert MacLeod; he also leaves many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours Tuesday, May 31, from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Streets. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851-2950. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning, June 1, at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Private burial at Beaver Dam Cemetery in Webster N.H. will be Thursday.
