BURKE William R, Jr. Retired Capt. Cambridge Police Dept., of East Cambridge, April 1. Beloved husband of Ruth (Lannon). Devoted father of William III, Edward and his wife Lisa, Ann Weiner and her husband David, Frances Brazao and her companion Joseph Kenney, Paul and his wife Brenda. Step-father of John and his wife Margaret and the late Joseph Frazier. Loving grandfather of thirteen and great-grandfather of ten. Brother of E. Paul, Charles, John, Joseph Burke and the late Carroll Graham and Helen Nocella. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Donovan-Aufiero Funeral Home, 140 Otis St. (at 6th St.) EAST CAMBRIDGE Wednesday at 10 AM followed by a Rite of Christian Burial in the Sacred Heart Church, 49 Sixth St., Cambridge at 11:00AM.
