MARCIANO Yolanda R. of Topsfield. Age 91, Wednesday, May 28th , 2014 at Beverly Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in Topsfield, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Teresa (Coppola) Marciano. Yolanda is survived by her sister Grace J. Marciano, with whom she resided until she moved to the Atrium at Veronica Drive in Danvers, nieces Isabel Winslow and her husband Edward, Teresa Iovanella and her husband Nicholas Jacobellis, Theresa Hilton and her husband John, Carmen Winslow and her husband Peter Calandra, nephews Carmine Lo Conte and his wife Mary, Carmine Marciano and his wife Helen, Richard and his wife Diane, Carmen Marciano and his wife Carol, Paul Marciano and his wife Jean, John Marciano and his wife Ida, Frank Iovanella and his partner, Carol Foster, who with his son, Gregory and wife Kristen, handled all of Yolanda’s affairs and needs, John Iovanella and his wife Kimberly. She is also survived by Margaret Marciano ( David), Christine Marciano (Joseph) and Richard Seger (Theresa). She had many close friends as well: Shirley Baker Russell, Sean Fenton, Marilyn Washington, the Cardellos, Madeleine, Peter and Matthew, and many grand-nephews and grand-nieces as well as into the next generation. She was blessed with a wonderful family and it would be difficult to name all those who were there by her side when she needed them. Suffice it to say they were always there for her and their love and care were very much appreciated. She was predeceased by her brother Euplio and his wife Rose and their daughter Theresa Seger, sister Olympia LoConte and her husband Pasquale and their daughter Concetta (Connie) Brown, brother Angelo (Dutchy) Marciano and his wife Angela and their son Joseph, sister Mary Iovanella and her husband Saverio (Henry), brother Savino Marciano and his wife Dorothy and their daughter Barbara and son David. She also had a brother, her parents’ first born, also named Euplio, who died in infancy. Special thanks go to Linda Kemmer, her caregiver and good friend for over 6 years, staffs of Spectrum of the North Shore, Elder Services of the North Shore and The Atrium at Veronica Drive for their loving care and support during her final years. Also many thanks to so many friends and neighbors who have been so caring and supportive through good times and bad. Her funeral will be held from the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) DANVERS, Wednesday, June 4th at 10:15 A.M. followed by her funeral Mass in St. Rose of Lima Church, Park St. Topsfield at 11A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield. Visiting hours Tuesday, June 3rd from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Yolanda’s memory to Topsfield Historical Society, P.O. Box 323, Topsfield, MA 01983, The Topsfield-Boxford Community Club, 7 School Ave., Topsfield, MA 01983 or St. Rose of Lima Church, 17 Prospect St., Topsfield, MA 01983.
