MANSOLILLI Albert J. “Bud” Mansolilli, 78, of Naples passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Frances Georgeson Hospice House after a brief illness. He was born May 7, 1934 in Everett, MA a son of the late Americus and Mary Mansolilli. Bud had been a resident of Naples since 1998 coming from Tewksbury, MA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Massachusetts National Guard. Bud spent 41 years with the John Hancock Company in Boston before retiring in 1995 as a staff manager. He currently was serving as the President of the Bonita Springs Lions Club and the President of the Florida Lions Eye Bank. He was an active member at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Beverly E. Mansolilli of Naples, two sons, Albert J. Mansolilli, II and his wife, Deborah of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Anthony J. Mansolilli of Nashua, NH; two daughters, Lisa A. Law and her husband, Joseph P. of Nashua, NH and Donna M. Tingsley of Lowell, MA; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John. The family will receive friends, Thursday, (TODAY) September 6, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 South Tamiami Trail. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Avenue North, Naples. Burial services with military honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Florida Lions Eye Bank, 900 NW 17th Street, Miami, FL 33136 or online at Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home.
