Aug. 13, 1973 – April 10, 2014
Our grandson, our nephew, our cousin, our brother and our friend, you're gone way too soon, and we will miss you terribly. Now the fishing is great, and you will always get the first one, the biggest one. Have fun.
B.J. came to Bozeman when he was four years old. So this has always been home. He graduated from Bozeman High School in 1992. Growing up, he had a passion for filming, and he filmed the Bozeman Chord Rustlers (Barbershop) show while he was in high school. He did such a good job that he did it for several years.
The sky diving community here in the Gallatin Valley is a very unique group. But getting into a perfectly good airplane and jumping out to float gently to the ground, depending on your expertise, depends on the grace of your landing. B.J. called you all friends and was so happy to be a part of this activity.
B.J. loved his job as a cook at the Korner Klub Café and all of the people he worked with.
He was a very private person and did not want a big fuss. Therefore, there will be no services at this time. However, we will hold a celebration of B.J.'s life in mid-summer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in B.J.'s name to The VFW
Scholarship Fund, Post 903, PO Box 3867, Bozeman, MT 59772.
Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service, www.dokkennelson.com.
