Charles "Chuck" G. Rogers, 85, of Bozeman passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. He was born Feb. 26, 1929 in Bozeman to Goodlet and Lulla (McAllister) Rogers.
Chuck attended grade school and high school in Whitehall. He later lived in Belgrade before moving to Bozeman. He married Lois Walker on July 26, 1949, and the couple had three children. Lois passed away Aug. 18, 1995. On Oct. 11, 1996, Chuck married Angela Smith in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He worked various jobs until going to work for the Montana State Highway Maintenance Department, retiring after 30 years.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James; sisters, Lulla Belle (Jody) Hedges and Betty Jo Olind; his first wife, Lois (Walker) Rogers; and son-in-law, Jack Weber.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Rogers; daughters, Lynn (Brad) Cooper of Belgrade and Laurie Weber of Manhattan; son, Charles Scott (Mary) Rogers of Belgrade; sisters, Jesse May (Tom) Todd of Three Forks and Frances Dellinger of Three Forks; brothers, George Kenneth of Helena and Richard "Dick" of Lolo; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11 at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.
