God, we give you our beautiful boy with a heart of gold and generosity to a fault. Cole was just beginning to live again after being troubled by years of addiction. He went back one last time and our hearts are broken without him here. To someone who didn't know better, they would see Cole as a handsome, friendly, strong man with a spring in his step and a twinkle in his eye, but the addiction held and ruled him with an iron hand. Addiction doesn't discriminate and is relentless. It can take down the strongest of the strong and the weakest of the weak.
For any family battling with similar problems, we hope and pray that our loss can somehow bring guidance and help to you with your struggles. We know what you are going through.
