Henry "Hank" Gerry(1920 - 2013)

Dr. Henry "Hank" Gerry, 92, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 in Bozeman. He was born on Dec. 24, 1920 in Lewiston, Minn., to Benjamin and Grace Gerry.
Hank grew up in Billings, graduating from Billings High School. He attended Montana State University receiving his undergraduate degree in chemistry and earned his PhD in chemistry from the Ohio State University. He returned to MSU where he taught chemistry until he retired.
Hank served in the United States Army during World War II in Germany from 1944 to 1946. He was awarded a Silver and Bronze Star for his service to our country.
Hank enjoyed golfing at Riverside Country Club, where he was a past president. He also enjoyed piloting radio controlled model aircraft.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Koch of Shiloh, Ohio; grandchildren, Daniel (Jessica) Koch, Alexis Cullion and Jeremy Cullion; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Gerry of LaJolla, Calif., and Joanne Gerry of Billings. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ben and Richard Gerry.
