Daniel Michael Barry, 60, of Bozeman, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. Daniel was born in Camp Carson, Colo., to Patrick and Fiorella (Passone) Barry on Jan. 10, 1953.

Daniel graduated from Holy Rosary High School in Bozeman in 1971. He attended Carroll College for a time, and served in the Army as a radio teletype operator. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal from the Army; and he received an honorable discharge. Daniel worked for a variety of businesses in Bozeman throughout the years.
Daniel married Melinda L. Rogers in 1983. They later divorced.
When his brother was diagnosed with leukemia in 1978, and needed a bone marrow transplant, Daniel stepped forward to be a donor without hesitating.
Daniel is survived by his brother, Edward. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
