Joyce Roll Barton, 85, of Bozeman, Montana, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016.
Joyce was born in DeWitt, Iowa, to Charles and Evelyn Roll. She received her Master's Degree from Iowa State University. In 1955, she married Richard James Barton and they lived in Ohio and Colorado before moving to Regina, Saskatchewan, for the next 40 years of their life. They moved to Bozeman, Montana, in 2006.
Joyce was an Oboist in the Regina Symphony for many years and enjoyed going to the Bozeman Symphony. She was an accomplished seamstress and was known for giving away home-baked cookies. She loved hiking, "chasing" waterfalls and square dancing.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet (Richard Lund) Lee, Diane (Bryon) Whiteaker, and Donna (Florian Bell) Barton; three grandchildren, Joanne, David (Amy) and Timothy; and five great-grandchildren.

Sorry to read about Joyce's passing. Bill & I enjoyed square dancing with Dick and Joyce for many years. My sympathy to the family.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
