Andrew Scott Archer, 27, of Edina and Bozeman, died suddenly April 23, 2012 in Bozeman. He is survived by his parents, Gail and Scott Archer; sister, Alexandra (Ali) Archer; grandmother, Marion Gessner; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Belying the rough and ready exterior was an unusually affectionate and concerned family member and friend. His death was the result of a high velocity lifestyle, the elements of which ignored moderation. There is a message here.

Andrew was a friend of Everyman. He had a self-imposed duty to ensure a great time for everyone. He was an Eagle Scout and a lover of all outdoor activity. He was a member of Sigma Chi and of course, the social chairman.

There will be a Mass of Christian burial at the Basilica of St. Mary at noon Wednesday, May 2, 2012. A gathering will follow. In lieu of flowers, any acknowledgements may be directed to the Basilica of St. Mary in Andrew's name.

A wake will be held at the Baxter Hotel in downtown Bozeman from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 28 for anyone who would like to attend.
