Anna Mae Bockhahn, 79, Prairie Village, Kan., passed away June 6, 2012 at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.

Anna was born Sept. 21, 1932 in Grand Island, Neb. to Leonard and Marie Yount. She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic school in Grand Island, and worked for the Grand Island Daily Independent, Five Points Bank, and J&H Office Equipment in Bozeman. She was happily married to Donald Lee Bockhahn for 36 years. Her greatest joys in life were raising her six children, and 14 grandchildren, and attending all of their various activities. She was always the #1 fan, and will forever be remembered for her heart of gold and passion for others.
Anna spent a year in Bozeman, living with her son, Don and his wife, Andi, enjoying the mountains before moving to Kansas City to be near her family in the Midwest.
She is survived by her two sons, Donald Bockhahn Jr. (Andi) of Bozeman, and Robert Bockhahn (JoAnn) of Ripon, Calif., and her four daughters, Deborah Helleberg (Carl) of Fond Du Lac, Wis., Cynthia Ritacco (Matthew) of Leadville, Colo., Catherine Clark (David) of Mission Hills, Kan., and Kimberly Rogge (Michael) of Lincoln, Neb.
Grandchildren: Carson and Chase Bockhahn; Adam, Parker and Laura Helleberg; Marney and Mariel Ritacco; Katelin, Winn, and Kirsten Clark; Blaine, Logan, and Kyndal Bockhahn; Jadyn and Jordyn Rogge.
She will be greatly missed by all of the friends and families whose lives she touched throughout her lifetime. We miss you, we love you, you will always be in our hearts.
