Annabell Wortman Lambert, 81, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2010.

Annabell was born on Oct. 24, 1928, to John and Mildred (Black) Wortman in Bozeman. She attended Cottonwood School and graduated from Gallatin County High School. After graduating, she went on to nursing school in Havre. She later moved back to Bozeman and worked at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.

She married Dell Lambert on Nov. 6, 1952. To this union she had two children, Patty Lambert Dworshak and Scott Lambert.

She was a full-time ranch wife, cow-chaser, breadmaker and cook. She took care of the grandchildren and everything else under the sun. She enjoyed the Manhattan Presbyterian Church, helping on wonderful Wednesdays, sewing and crafts. She will be greatly missed.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Dell Lambert; son, Bryon; brothers, Jack Wortman and Duane Wortman; and sister, Lucille Ashton.

Annabell is survived by her brother, Donald (Roz) Wortman of Manhattan; children, Patty Dworshak of Belgrade, Scott Lambert of Pony; grandchildren, Jolene (Chad) Guether of Belgrade, Connor Lambert of Sappington, Tanner Lambert of Pony; step-grandchildren, Michelle Herren of Helena, Jennifer Dworshak of Pendleton, Ore., Michael Dworshak of Belgrade; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Chance, and Max Guenther; sisters-in-law, Sharon Wortman, Norma Robinson, and Laura Jean Mitchell.

A celebration of Annabell's life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at Manhattan Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Meadowview Cemetery.
