Barbara Joyce Forrest , born July 19,1932 in Visalia, Calif., passed away peacefully on the 14th of July, 2011. Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Andy, and is survived by four children, Mark, Jane, Charles, and John. She is widowed from Marquez Edward Lundin and survived by step-children Suzie, Pattie and John, and many grandchildren.

Barbara called several places home including California, Oregon and Washington, retiring to the Big Sky Country of the Bozeman area some 12 years ago.
Educated in medicine at Sacramento State College, Calif., she became a nurse practitioner. After moving to Montana she was active at St. James Episcopal Church and was a volunteer at Bozeman Deaconess in the hospice program. One of her favorite pastimes was being with fellow members of The Knit-Wits knitting club. She was constantly creating art and her home today is filled with expressions of her own design. She was active in her book club and especially enjoyed the study of theology.
She will be dearly missed by her family and will be remembered as a friend of the community.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 18, at St. James Episcopal Church.
