Betty Luebbe Adams, 84, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her home in Bozeman. She was born on March 17, 1930 to John and LuLu (Weber) Luebbe on their homestead near Sun River, Mont. Betty was the third child born and being 10 years younger than her siblings, Donald and Marion, she lived a childhood of having her parents to herself. Betty thoroughly enjoyed being outside helping her dad with any type of ranch work. She graduated high school in 1948 at Simms and was the senior class president. Even with dementia, she remembered her wonderful childhood and friends with a gleam in her eye.

On Sept. 3, 1950, Betty married the love of her life, Richard Adams. They met on a blind date in Great Falls and had a love that most people only dream of.

Betty and Richard moved to California for a number of years and had four children, Linda, Mark, Tracy and Dana. In 1969, they fulfilled their dream of moving back to Montana and remained in the Four Corners area for the remainder of their lives.

She was a bookkeeper at Coast to Coast, then Simkins Hallin until getting into the craft show circuit with Linda and Tracy. Betty loved crafting, sewing, yard work, family and friends. Betty was part owner of the "Page Gift Shoppe" for a number of years and did volunteer work for the Museum of the Rockies, and most recently, RSVP at the Bozeman Senior Center.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Richard; daughter, Linda; and brother and sister, Donald and Marion. She is survived by her children, Mark (Kathey) Adams, Tracy (Greg Foiles) Eddlemon, and Dana (Mike) Coolidge; eight grandchildren, Holly (Randy) Jackson, David (Alysia) Phillips, Kellie (Jeff) Christofferson, Jenn (Rick) Adams, Randie (Brett Zempel) Adams, Brad (Amber) Adams, Rachel (Chase) Holtz, Kyle Phillips; two step-grandchildren, Andrew and Jacob Coolidge; six great-grandchildren, Devin, Michaela, Zach, Mathew, Aubrey, and Alexis; and adopted family member, Susan Smith.
