Bret Lindsay was born to Judy and David Lindsay on Oct. 9, 1968. He was a twin brother to Bart Lindsay and a younger to Martin Lindsay.

He started his own family with Anita Coates. He then raised her boys, Derick and Brandon Verge. He then had two of his own daughters, Desirae and Justina Lindsay.

Bret went to job corps when he was sixteen years old, which helped him get on the right track and determined the life he wanted to live.

He had numerous jobs before he went to work for Bozeman Plumbing, where he found his love and ambition for that type of work. He was always so proud of his work and would never sign off on something that wasn't 100 percent. After leaving Bozeman Plumbing, he worked for a few other plumbing businesses, before opening his own, Lindsay Plumbing.

Bret's first priorities were his daughters Desirae and Justina Lindsay. He also loved camping, fishing, drinking beer and having a good ol' time with his family and friends.

Bret was a generous man who would do anything for anyone, if at all possible. His family and friends always came first.

Bret was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2011 and fought this terrible disease for almost six months, until it caught up to him and took his life way too fast.

Bret passed away at Mountain View Care Center, July 19, 2011, at about 5:30 a.m.Bret will be greatly missed, remembered, and appreciated by anyone that ever came into contact with him.

Memorial services will be held at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel on Monday, July 25, 2011, at 1 p.m.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.
