Carl A. Curcio, Jr., 63, of Bethlehem, Pa., Jupiter, Fla., and Bozeman, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 11, 2009, with his loving family by his side in Bethlehem.

He was the beloved husband of Karen Jo Weisenberger-Curcio, sharing 17 wonderful years together.

Carl served as a medic in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1966-1968 and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for heroism.

He was president and CEO of Carl A. Curcio and Associates, Inc.

Carl was an avid golfer, and a member of several charitable community organizations. He also had a passion for the welfare of animals. His family will always remember him as a loving son, wonderful father and devoted husband.

In addition to his beloved wife, Karen, he is survived by his mother Josephine, beloved daughter Shanna Sciascia and her husband Vince, and sister, Cathy Davis and her husband Bill, all of Pennsylvania; nieces, nephews and his faithful service dog, Dusty.

His father, Carl A. Curcio Sr., died earlier.

Services will be held Monday, June 15, at Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Easton, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, in care of the funeral home, Easton, PA 18042
