On Oct. 30 at 12:22 a.m., Carmin Lee (Box) Hansen was received by Our Lord and our other loved ones who have gone before her into the gates of Heaven.

Carmin was born to Fred and Oleta Box of Pony, Mont. on Feb. 2, 1939. She grew up there with her sister, Colleen who she is with again, along with her parents. She graduated from Harrison High School, and then attended college in Billings. She then moved to Seattle to work for Metropolitan Life Savings. During the annual Seafair Event in Seattle, she met her husband of almost 51 years, Bob Hansen of Tulsa, who was playing in the Army Band as part of the parade. They were married Feb. 17, 1962 in the Catholic Church and gave 23 years of their lives together to the United States Army; Bob serving Active Duty, Carmin faithfully serving as the wife of an Active Duty man. During this time they had two daughters. Carmella Marie was taken home by the Lord in 2001 at the age of 36. Clarissa Colleen, and her daughter were ever present with Carmin alongside Bob through the last days of her natural death.

She will be celebrated and missed, everyday, by husband, Bob; daughter, Clarissa; granddaughter, Rebecca Marie; Carmella Marie's two children, her nephew, Clyde Foster Jackson of Spokane and his beautiful wife, daughters, and grandchildren, and also by college roommate and lifelong friend, Sandy and her husband, Howard Whitlock. There are many lives Carmin has touched, so many who will love, and miss her forever.

Services will take place in Washington State, as soon as arrangements can be made. Donations are encouraged in the form of adding a new family member from the Heart of the Valley or other animal shelter, or by donation to the same.
