Carol J. Aandahl was born Oct. 13, 1936, to Clifford and Agnes Aandahl, the eldest of four children. Raised in Austin, Minnesota, she eventually moved to Montana to attend college. While finishing her first teaching degree, she met Jim, the man who would become her husband. Carol and Jim were married Aug. 23, 1958, and spent the next 40 years living and working in different parts of Montana. Carol taught school in Bozeman for 30 years, reluctantly leaving a career which brought great pleasure and allowed her to make a real difference in many young lives.
The Guest Book is expired.
Carol and Jim moved from Montana to Green Valley, Arizona, in 1998. Carol was known to pour herself into her retirement passions, among which were bird watching, genealogy, community choir, and studying the bible. She beautifully wove her Christian testimony throughout each activity. Her love for Jim and for the Lord washed through all parts of her life and for 57 years she awoke to Jim's voice and the voice of her God. Each day began in prayer, seeking direction from the Shepherd of her life.
She departed from this life on March 29, 2015.
Carol is survived by her husband Jim; children Brian, Laura, and Dave; and siblings Judy, Pamela and George. She was predeceased by her son Bradley.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Sahuarita Assembly of God Church, near Green Valley, Arizona.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

But as it is written, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him."
